Oh no- I'm sure you'll be able to have sedation next time. Least you got through that one though. My results are on Tuesday morning. Least you get your results too next week, and you'll be to enjoy your holiday before treatment x

Are you doing any alternative therapies to help too? I've just been reading stuff about acupuncture etc but I'm not sure about it all. Hope your treatment is going well 

No not looked at alternative treatments actually, I'm definitely not adverse to them! Someone mentioned to me that you can have someone hold your hand during it so I may try that next time too!

I had my first EC infusion on 20th April and suffered with awful heartburn and nausea from 6-24hrs. The helpline suggested getting Esomeprazol which is one tablet a day and this helped control it. There are others you can get on prescription. I'll be going straight to this before any symptoms appear for the second infusion.

I am sorry to hear that you are having trouble with nausea. Have you mentioned this to your care team? There are a number of different preparations to combat this and you might be better with another one.

Thanks for the advice will consult my GP for Esomeprosole before my next treatment.

Good luck with everything. I have just been diagnosed with stage 3 Her 2 left breast, and stage 2 in right breast. Research shows chemo is best to shrink and control cancer prior to mastectomy, but I have just been booked for a double mastectomy with lymph removal on the 16th May, then chemo and radiotherapy together after. Looking forward to fighting this thing as waiting is a very difficult stage. x

It went well- he showed me scan- they need to add another clip in my lymph node and maybe another biopsy as have a cyst in other breast (although they seemed sure it's just a cyst) hope your doing ok x
