Bladder cancer at age 40

Hi everyone, I'm new to this and don't really know what I'm hoping for out of this post maybe for someone to help me with what they have gone through so I know what to expect

I'm 40 year old male and have been told I have bladder cancer stage 3 which has travelled to my lymph nodes.

My doctor has told me that it is not curable but it can be treated to help prolong.

It has come quickly and very much of a shock and I don't know what to expect what to look out for (if its getting worse)

I did not want to know timescales of how long I can live with this.

If anyone has any advice to help with it for example what I can do to help my self and kind of what to expect.

  • Hi Moonlight, sorry to hear about your diagnosis. Just to say I hope you get a treatment plan in place soon. Someone with the same diagnosis will hopefully be along soon to give you some advice but I've found just getting out and about for a brisk walk every day has helped me mentally xx
