Hi, I have secondary cancer diagnosed February this year. I'm not on same medications, I'm on ribociclib and letrozole. It's a table form of chemo I believe. It's in my lymph nodes in my chest andcollar bone. I'm only on first cycle of tablets. I was diagnosed initially 13 years ago at 33 where I had chemo, radio and chose double mastectomy. Took tamoxifen for 10 years, 3 years of no meds to then having pain in chest. It's all a shock and I never don't think about it. Sometimes I wonder how they know which is the best treatment?
I love being outside.
Sending lots of love.
summer is coming ️ xxx
Really sorry about your reacurance.. I've spoke to lots of ladies and unfortunately it's returned. I've been told to treat it like a chronic illness and not an instant death sentence. Treatment has come a long way now and we can live for a long time with it.. sending lots of love your way xxxxx
I rushed my original message so I'm sorry for my mistakes! Also my niave comment on what treatment they choose. They do know what they're doing. I've been reading this evening where medicine has come in 13 years, and the differences. It's hard to be positive some days but I like what you say about chronic illness. You have had some lovely advice since you're original message wanting support and you're giving great support to others. Keep being strong and thank you xx
