i feel in bits at the moment . still in shock that they found this tumour, she says she thinks its superficial and i am to have a TURBT . I dont feel very positive at all, just terrified and tearful.
I am so sorry you have just found this out. It must have been a real shock to you but it's reassuring that she said she thought it was superficial. It's good that they have a treatment plan in place. Thankyou so much Lucie for your kind words and reassurance. I have a CT scan of kidneys bladder and ureters tomorrow , I am very frightened of the unknown, it is a worrying time. Trying to keep busy, its a bit of a rollercoater of emotions from positive , right back to the dark side.
In the end all i can do is take one day at a time.

Well I had the CT scan this morning, with contrast. Its weird feeling when you get that rush of feeling hot.
It was easy enough, its more the anxiety about the results thats exhausting. 2 weeks they said. I will try really hard to forget all about it until I have to face it again.
Everyone is sleeping in my house , it feels very lonely lying here with my frightened thoughts. One more week till my pre op , my stomach churns when i think about it.
Its not knowing what I have to face and how I tell my son.
I had a scope of Friday and was old I have a tumour. The urologist thinks it’s in the wall of the bladder and not outside but I’m afraid after being dismissed by my gp after a clear ultrasound I’ve lost faith.
hes also ordering a ct and now I’m thinking why ?? Does he think it’s spread
