Brain tumor

Hello guys ️

I'm 24, I have had a MRI Brain scan and unfortunately I have a brain tumour, apparently in one ball, and it's size of golf ball, Wednesday going to a consultation for then to be giving a date to get key hole surgery and they will take abit if the tumor and see if it's cancerous, I have had awake seizures for 3 years and apparently it's a slow growing tumour, has anyone got any friends or family that have survived this, I'm extremely scared and could do with some positivity, also after the discussion on Wednesday do you think I will get the surgery asap, anyone got any story's of  procedures and how it works? Thanks for reading guys!

  • Hello Jay_,

I'm sorry to hear how you're feeling, but it's natural. I do hope your appointment on Wednesday goes ok and don't afraid to ask your consultant these questions or raise any concerns. There are examples of procedures here and some advice here, whether you're waiting for an appointment or results. I'm sure some of our members can share similar experiences with you.

    Best wishes,
