Just got diagnosed with BCC/SGC this Wednesday

Hey everyone 

 

hope you're all as good as you can be 

feeling like I'm living in a surreal version of my life right now, thought I had milia now it's cancer  

Maybe should haven't have ignored it for two years, oops. 
 

Ironically I've ALWAYS worn sunscreen and sunglasses too. 

just needed to say that really.

    I am sorry to hear you have just been diagnosed with BCC. I thought I would share with you the information we have on our website on skin cancer and more specifically on basal cell carcinoma which I hope will reassure you. 

    If you have any questions or would like to talk to our cancer nurses, feel free to give them a call on 0808 800 4040 - their line is open Monday to Friday from 9am to 5pm.

    I also hope that you will hear from other members of our community who have also had a similar diagnosis recently and that they will be along shortly to share their experience with you.
