Leukaemia diagnosis 69 yr old female

My Mum has been told her white blood cell count is at 120 which means she has leukaemia. This was found after a routine blood test. She has to wait until 3/4/23 to see a consultant so at the moment we're all quite worried as she's had so little information. Can anyone help?

    I'm sorry you've haven't been given much information but hopefully this section of our website will help.

    We also have a very knowledgeable team of cancer nurses you can discuss this with on 0808 800 4040, Monday - Friday between 9a.m - 5p.m. They're very easy to talk to and will do all they can to help.

    I'm sure some of our members will offer their support and advice to you soon but in the meantime, we're thinking of you LittleHappyClouds and wishing your mum all the best with her appointment next month.
