Ah thank you, that's really kind. I had my staging scans yesterday -it is cervical cancer, and so I am just playing the waiting game to see what is in store for me next. I'm doing ok. We havent told the kids and wont do until we know the treatment plan and the stage (if its just a hysterectomy I might not tell them). I have lots of questions about radiotherapy and chemo (like hair loss, and will i still be able to work at all), but I think i just need to slow down and see what they say. Thank you. xxx

I'm 58, I told my kids but not my older grandson till after i had the op and histology results. Hard enough keeping own thoughts together let's alone worrying bout everyone else's. They normally try to grade on scan and stage after  hysterectomy. 
I was 1a grade 3, I only had brachertherapy, so as you say try not to get to far ahead, as chemo and stuff may not be needed.. any help I can offer feel free to ask xx
