Hi Bella sloth, I was diagnosed with invasive ductal carcinoma, oestrogen 8+ and progesterone think 5+, still waiting for my her2 results as was 2+ on that which is borderline. 

Because my cancer is hormone related I have to stop my oestrogen patchs and have my marina coil removed, which is going to be Tuesday. I'm afraid I don't know if the coil or my patches have contributed to the cancer, I guess they couldn't have helped it. 

Dreading not having these hormone supplements, I had finally got to a good place where I felt like myself. But hey ho, told my partner to strap himself in as it's going to be a hell of a bumpy ride and on top of that cancer lol x

I was diagnosed ER+ so they said I needed Mirena coil removed and HRT stopped asap.

If you are estrogen positive then any other forms of added estrogen have to be removed as it fuels the cancer cells.
