Thank you so much for your kind words. I'm so scared. I should know my results mid to end of next week. Hopefully it is contained and not gone into my lymph nodes. You try and get on with your day , try to forget then a big brick hits you in the tummy and you remember.

I just never thought at 48 you would hear the words.... I'm so sorry,   you have cancer.  Xx

im to 48 had breast cancer last July , I'm now fully back to myseif it's a treck but you soon bounce back trust me I'm now living like it never happened.

Hi Linz, 

Unfortunately, cancer is no respector of age, creed, colour, or anything else for that matter. There are many here who were a lot younger than 48, when they were first diagnosed. DCIS is by no means the worst breast cancer to have - do you know what grade it is?

Here's hoping that those results come in soon and you'll know what you're dealing with.

I hope you get your results soon,I know what you mean about being scared I’m the same…..I’m waiting a week on mri results for my liver………I had a ct scan for my bowels….consultant sent me for this liver mri.

I'm sorry to hear you are going through this.  I've got a 4cm tumour. 

It sounds like they are moving quickly for you.   I had my biopsy results on 19th. Had an MRI this week and a mammogram booked for Wednesday this week. The nurse told me it is likely it won't be able to go to be discussed at the MDT until 22 or 29 May! I'm worried how long this is all taking. And whether it's spreading in the meantime.  I'm only 39 and have 2 small children and I'm petrified. 

I was around 40 minutes in the MRI scanner with all the tests and I had the dye too. How long did your scans take?
