MRI results

Hi,

I had my MRI this week, what a strange experience that was. When they ran the dye through my veins it felt so weird.

( was diagnosed with DCIS the week before)

 

Just waiting for the results and then can get a surgery date and treatment plan.

Mind in overdrive now thinking it's spread all over my chest. Night times are the worst when it's pitch black and the horrible thoughts run away with me.

 

I will feel better once we have a plan.

    Hi Linz,

    Have you been told how soon your results will be back? I hope that it all turns out well and that you can soon start moving forward. You will certainly feel better once you know exactly what you are dealing with.

    Thank you so much for your kind words. I'm so scared. I should know my results mid to end of next week. Hopefully it is contained and not gone into my lymph nodes. You try and get on with your day , try to forget then a big brick hits you in the tummy and you remember.

    I just never thought at 48 you would hear the words.... I'm so sorry,   you have cancer.  Xx

    im to 48 had breast cancer last July , I'm now fully back to myseif it's a treck but you soon bounce back trust me I'm now living like it never happened.

    Hi Linz, 

    Unfortunately, cancer is no respector of age, creed, colour, or anything else for that matter. There are many here who were a lot younger than 48, when they were first diagnosed. DCIS is by no means the worst breast cancer to have - do you know what grade it is?

    Here's hoping that those results come in soon and you'll know what you're dealing with.

    I hope you get your results soon,I know what you mean about being scared I’m the same…..I’m waiting a week on mri results for my liver………I had a ct scan for my bowels….consultant sent me for this liver mri. 

    Again I wish you a speedy reply to yours.
