just remember what you were told today was just a ne ruin of the c word not that you asre having it dejected tiday lol

much love big hugs lovely love Lara akways hete to support you x ️

  • Thanks Lara you are an absolute star with your kind words xx

  • Let me no how you get on ️

  • Hi Shellie, you will be just fine. It is a bit of a rollercoaster as you have probably already noticed but you will get through this.

I too was diagnosed with IDC grade2 ER positive cancer September 21, this was from the biopsies. After surgery things did change, it was grade 3 and I needed chemo which obviously scared the life out of me as it does most of us but this is so doable now with the supporting medications. Yes you can feel rough but some people sail through it not everyone is the same.

Whatever you encounter you will do it because we have to and I can tell you there is no better feeling when all the treatment is complete and you can start to enjoy yr life again, I just saw it as a break from the norm for 9 months.

I am back at work and living life to the full. I had my yearly mammogram last November and everything is ok at the minute and I'm hoping it will be for any years.

You may well be ok with the plan they have given you but if it changes don't worry they look after us exceptionally well.

Here if I can help in any way .

Best wishes on the rollacoaster until it gets better which it will xxx

  • Thanks so much Kiera123 for the info. I just can't wait to get a date and get started. I have tried to keep busy for the weekend till Monday, when hopefully I will hear something. Good to hear you ok. X

  • Hi Ladies

Sounds like we are on very similar paths at the moment.

I too was diagnosed in February with Invasive ductal carcinoma mucinous type (G2) Her2-.  Have seen the surgeon and am pencilled in for the Lumpectomy and Sentinel Biopsy at the end of March.

As long as nothing changes with the results following surgery then should be on for a short course of radiotherapy and hormone tablets.

    Take care ️

    Sam x

  • Hi Sam

Yes it seems very similar and the times of op.  Thanks for the message. I am hoping to get my date tomorrow xx

  • Hello gang

As you no I have spoken with all of you before that was my route but mine changed after lunpectomy when results came in I also had 2 nd operation removing 30 nodes these were , at this point they told me chemo could now come in to the mix but lucky all those nodes came back ckear I fought strong to get the oncotyoe  DX test I was having it if I was paying myself that came back low score no chemo required so as Kiera 123 said hers changed mine changed but it was a quick process for me from July to nov it's now March and feel like it happened to someone else so good luck ladies you no where I am to chat I was Her2 negative stage 1 grade 2 on diagnosis this obviously changed after surgery.
    sending you all good luck

    love Lara ️

  • Thanks everyone for your messages, it certainly helps loads x

just feeling down tonight as can't believe it all really. Think it's all been a shock as I really wasn't expecting the results to be what they were  from  a routine mammogram as no lump or pain..

sending hugs to all going through this and everyone that has been so brave xx
