i hopefully have my op next Friday to remove a 4cm tumour in my rectum. I have no idea what to expect. I will find out when I come round if I have had to have a permanent or temp stoma. Any one had surgery recently can share their experiences?
This cannot be. A surgeon would have discussed the operation with you. You will also need to sign a consent form, can't think they would leave it until day of surgery. Was it too overwhelming that you didn't understand? It was a bit like that for me. Then we returned a week later for a repeat run through.All was explained again the morning of operation. Good luck
thanks for your reply. It has been an absolute whirlwind. I was in today for an examination under sedation as it is in a very hard position. I will have my surgery on 3 March all being well. Im so nervous but feel ready. How was everyone afterwards. I hate being sick
