I had 6 rounds of FEC T in the summer of 21 and used the cold cap , which was an absolute life saver to me physically and mentally. I prob kept about 60 % of my hair and it did thin but it certainly did nt scream " cancer patient " and no one would guess if I did nt tell them. I had lots of shedding overnight and wake up with it on my pillow which alarmed me , but used a baby shampoo and conditioner and very wide toothed comb. No straighteners or hair dryers ( cool blast is OK) a hairdresser gave me those tips. My friend also used the cold cap a few months later and kept at least half her hair , she had funky headbands to cover the slight bald patches. Wishing u good luck and hope I ve helped xx
