I'm sorry to hear you are anxious waiting , I understand as I had BC last year , I'm sure they work on timescales from diagnosis to treatment and won't leave you a day longer however it still doesn't help us in the meantime letting our minds wander , I really want to give you a big hug and hope that you are not waiting to much longer

Hi Chaz, I'm sorry that you are struggling with the wait until your treatment can start. I was the same last year, as I'm sure everyone here is/was too. I was told at the breast clinic appointment that the lump looked "suspicious". It was confirmed as breast cancer 3 weeks later, met with my oncologist 3 weeks after that, and I started chemo 2 weeks after that, so 8 weeks from clinic to chemo, almost 11 weeks from referral to chemo. I was worried that the delay would mean that my Grade 3 cancer would spread, but the nurse reassured me that it would not make a difference. I have just finished chemo and the tumour is no longer detectable on MRI. So, please try not to worry about the delay. You'll be well looked after. Just try to keep busy and distracted. Walks outdoors will boost your mood and help you cope with treatment down the line. It's been a wonder drug for me! Do let us know how you get on after your appointment.
