Just got diagnosed with endometrial cancer last week and had an MRI on Saturday. Have to wait over a week to see the consultant about the results and my treatment plan. The wait is torture. Anybody else in the same boat?
As no-one has got back to you just yet, I thought I'd have a quick look through the forum to see if I can find anyone who is in the same position.

Hi Jac... really sorry to hear what you going through, I'm going through the same. Just been diagnosed with stage 3 endometrial cancer. I've been told I will have 3 session of chemotherapy and then hysterectomy.
My head is nearly exploding, trying to be brave for the family, but I'm so scared.
Hi Fiona. Sorry to hear that. I am in hospital this morning awaiting a total hysterectomy (including removal of ovaries). They won't know if I need further treatment until afterwards. There is a really good support group on Facebook called Endometrial and Uterine Cancer Support. All the women in the group are going through the same thing but at different stages and they will answer any of your questions. I hope you are ok and you can get the suppprt you need xx
Apparently I have finished the menopause but having been bleeding on and off.
I have the mirena coil which is overdue to come out. I had a horrific time on insertion.
Anyway 3 weeks ago I went to hospital about the bleeding they tried to remove it OMG THE PAIN I was sobbing. Anyway couldn't get it out. They said they would do it by GA.. But the consultant said at the end of the appointment we'll do a colposcopy, so now I'm so frightened. Appointment is today.
