I am having investigations which have found a 4.5 cm mass in my abdomen ( in Portocaval Space) possibly emanating from duodenum.
I am now booked for an EUS to have this biopsied. Just wondered if anyone has similar experience?

I had a EUS last year .
For the pancreas.
I got put out as I had a panic attack.

Can I ask did you get a diagnosis from this procedure, and how soon were you given results?

Thankfully all was ok.
They said i might have a biopsy but apparently it wasnt needed.
But I'm being monitored yearly. Next one in June. Anxious already .
I asked the nurse when I woke and she just said all ok.
If you want to talk privately I don't mind at all.

What happened following your Biopsy? They have found a 4.3cm Hyperdense Lesion that is Inseparable from my Duodenum. They had the MDT meeting today to discuss and I now have an appointment to see a Upper GI Consultant on the 7th May. I hope you are ok. Sx
