Stage 1c3 ovarian cancer

Hi

My mum was diagnosed with stage 1c3 ovarian cancer. The exact terminology is 'Stage 1c3 sero mucuinous tumor with focal of invasion less than 1 mm'. She wasn't initially told it was cancerous or that it was graded and staged in the beginning - this was shared today. Anyone been diagnosed with the same? She had a robotic full hysterectomy in September and has some pain where her ovaries used be, he Dr said it can take up to 6 months to fully recover.

She was told she doesn't need chemotherapy, only ct scans every months. Her ca125 results were never shared with us despite asking we were only told they were fine. Today she had another blood test for ca125.
