Worried....tumour found at base of tongue & tail of pancreas

Hiya, I'm new to this so I'll just say what I've just been told which is not a lot!

I've just been diagnosed with a tumour at the base of my tongue but during a CT they have an incidental find of a tumour on the pancreas tail, this is yet to be confirmed but they are pretty sure. 

I was going to have radio and chemo for the tongue in January but now I don't know what's happening!? I'm so worried as I don't even know if it's curable together. 

Does anyone know of a similar experience? I'm really scared...

  • Welcome to Cancer Chat Bellalouise although I'm sorry about the tumours that have been found and for the worry this is understandably causing.

    You could try getting in touch with your cancer team to get an update on your treatment plan as well.
