Firstly I hope you're getting on OK - I can imagine this must be a worrying time. Unfortunately it's not possible for anyone other than the medical team to answer those questions, and after any relevant tests have been done. It's good to hear that it's not too long to wait until the appointment this week, which will be another opportunity to ask any questions you have.
