I'm sorry to hear about your mum's diagnosis. my mom has advanced ovarian cancer, her CA125 was originally 6000 back in July when she was referred to the hospital.  It then doubled within a month to 12000.  She has started on chemotherapy has been really poorly in hospital after the 1st cycle but has now had another 2.  They went back down to 6000 but have now increased again to 8060.

so I don't think you can assess anything off these markets.  My mom has been in a lot of pain and had to have the fluid drained from her abdomen and is now on morphine capsules but to look at her she looks fairly well compared to a few months ago.

Thank you very much for your reply. I do hope your mum continues to tolerate the chemo. It's so hard to know whether to go down that route. I think as much as anything it's about giving hope but the side effects can be so unpleasant.
