Hi everyone, have any of you experienced a very swollen belly after anterior resection open surgery? It only been 3 days but my belly seems to be getting bigger and bigger. (No stoma/ bag required) As a woman I could definitely pass for being 7 months pregnant.   I'm back at home today after a positive recovery in hospital, fully mobile yesterday and today plus all obs trouble free.  Just curious if this is normal and just wind build up? Any tips to reduce the bump and feel more comfortable - haven't had a bowel movement yet.
