BCC diagnosis. 1st surgery tomorrow. Anyone else had this?

I had a surprise diagnosis of BCC skin cancer last week and have first of two surgeries tomorrow. Feeling apprehensive about surgery even though usually successful and only local anesthetic as all happened so quickly (within one week). Has anyone else had this surgery, be good to get your perspective? Thanks Ak
