Oesophageal cancer - been told I have 1-2 years left

Hi everyone,

I was diagnosed with oesophageal cancer about 6 weeks ago, It's been diagnosed as inoperable and because of my health problems  cannot recieve any treatment untill igetr worse. The problem is tha I don't know what to e[pect ;articularly how long wii I be around. The Oncologist has said i have 12 month to  2 years. however I am suffering pain and big discomfort. Since being diagnosed I have had just 15 minutes face to face consultatio  which considering the enormaty of my prognosis it seems pathetically small.  Has anyone else had a similar experience
