Hi everyone, 

I found a dimpling and then a 2cm by 1cm lump in my right breast in August, I have been diagnosed with Stage 0 Triple negative breast cancer in September, they suspect it's genetic as a few family members also had this and I've had the tests for 4 genetics done. Last week I had my first chemo of Carboplatin & paclitaxel and then Pembrolizumab.. never felt so strange in my life for 5 days it was horrendous.. they want me to have this for 3 months then start EC for 3 months before a lumpectomy as I have Carcinoma in situ in my milk duct, but I have no problems in my lymph nodes. 
I'm petrified of an allergic reaction to the Paclitaxel so I'm awaiting to see if I can have just EC weekly and Pembrolizumab once every 3 weeks instead. My hair has already started to fall out even after one session of each. 
I was also diagnosed with Type 2 Diabetes at my first chemo session which I wasn't expecting and something else I need to overcome now.. the chemo sent my blood sugars sky high and didn't help having steroids and anti sickness medication as they also sent sugars up ‍♀️
