Recently had a suspected lung cancer diagnosis. Had PET and CT moved to bronchoscopy just found out it's inconclusive and needs repeating but nhs had a delay getting me an appointment. Anyone know if I can get this done privately?
I'm sorry to hear that you're currently waiting on further tests for a possible lung cancer diagnosis.
It would be best to speak to your GP or contact the Consultant's secretary to find out if this investigation can be done privately. If you're able to attend at short notice then you may also want to let them know this in case a cancellation becomes available.
