Hi. How are you doing? I was diagnosed 4 days ago with grade 1 cancer. It was such a shock as I had now symptoms but 3 polyps removed which they said we're nothing to worry about then the call out the blue. Had MRI on full abdomen yesterday as I had an ultrasound a couple months ago that picked up a polyp in my gall bladder and vit b levels v high. I'm terrified it's spread. I'm so tired and sleeping a lot to try and blank it out. At least u know you're not alone here.
Hi. new here so wasn't sure how to comment. I am in the middle of my referal had MRI on Saturday so no results yet. Was sent for a rapid referal after a ultrasound found a 8cm lump in my womb. Possibly a fibroid but also have a very tick lining of the womb. Consultant that I saw last week before MRI was recommending a hysterectomy whatever the result as I bleed so heavily, I'm on a large iron prescription as it's caused such low levels. not sure how I feel, bit like others a little in limbo trying to be positive but knowing either way I'm going to have surgery.
Im not too good at working my way around the site yet. The waiting for results is hard isn't it. I've been trying to keep busy and started to eat a very healthy diet. Past few days I've managed to push it to the back of my mind and focus on positives and tell myself it's just a few wayward cells in a part of my body I don't use (some times in the day I'm more successful than others!). I got a puppy just a couple days before my diagnosis so he's keeping me busy. I hope your results will give you some peace of mind xxx
