I'm sorry to hear that your partner is currently undergoing chemotherapy. I'm sure that this is a difficult time for you both.
The best people to speak to about this question will be your partner's Consultant or clinical nurse specialist if he has one. They will be able to share some advice based on what chemotherapy he is having along with any other medications he may be taking and his general health.
