l think you may find that your liver resection will be handed over to a specialist surgical team distinct from your oncology one.This might go some way to explain the wait as the two teams confer.This was the case for myself as the liver consultant won the day in getting first crack at me, with the oncologist tackling the bowel some weeks later. Fortunate for me as it turned out since the rapidity of spread around the liver meant surgery was only just possible.
