Just an update for those asking. I had my surgery on Friday after been diagnosed with a grade 3 invasive ductal carcinoma that had spread into my lymph nodes. 
 

I had a wide local excision to remove the tumour and the a medial cavity shave from the upper stomach areato reconstruct my boob with an immediate alcap reconstruction. I've also had a complete lymph node clearance. 
 

After a 6.5hr surgery and one night stay I was released home complete with my drains and a pico battery operated dressing on. Still numb around the boob, shoulder and upper arm but relieved it's over and I'm home. 
 

At hospital next Friday for dressings changed and hopefully drain removal. Then following Friday for pathology report and prepare a chemo plan.
