Long story but here goes...my last 3 smears have been HPV positive and i have colposcopy on Thursday, they checked the last 2 smears for abnormal cells but didn't find any.
In the meantime, whilst I've been worrying about that, i found a lump in my breast. Had all the tests inc biopsy yesterday and consultant has said almost definitely cancer. I get the official results on Friday. The lump is 1.2cm, not attached to anything and they can't currently see any swollen lymph nodes in the armpit area.
So this week i have colposcopy Thursday, breast results Friday. Obviously I'm a complete wreck.
My mind is running away with itself and coming up with all sorts of scenarios linking cervical and breast cancer. I feel like I'm going to be told I've got no chance.
Has anyone been in a similar position as this?
