Hi, im new to this forum, so thank you for reading.
Very long story short.
In 2018, i found a lump and after several mammos, biopsies, Radial Scar was diagnosed and removed via vacuum.
So i went for my routine mammo, now Im 50! And the RS regrew but bigger. It was removed this time surgically on 10th Aug. Went for my OPA on 30th to be told there is a tubular cancer 5.5mm, oestrogen driven. Im booked in for removal on 7th Sept day case where I'll have injection into sentinal node prior to theatre. Then she'll go via current excision site to remove the cancer and sentinal node once traced with the isotope blue dye.
I was told i might need radiotherapy therapy and possible Tamoxifen as not post menopause but obvs this will be decided in the MDT once they have all the results.
While I'm pretty pragmatic about it all ... its tiny, it'll be removed, treated. I still find it hard to believe its cancer as its such a 'big' word for something so small.
Does that make sense? Does anyone feel similar??
Thanks in advance
