Hi I just wanted to reach out.

I was diagnosed in October and have since had a lumpectomy, 6 rounds of chemo and 8 Radiotherapy sessions, mine was oestrogen Fed but not on my nodes and I was HEr2-.

I had FEC-T which was once every three weeks, I haven't heard of one per day for a week, are you sure that is right, my friend is HeR2 positive and had injections for this but i am not sure of the details.

This is by far the worst time! Scans and results are horrific, the worry consumes you, I know that feeling, I spent many night day in the lounge all night.

It seems a strange thing to say but this is the worst you will feel, once you have got all your results on the table and a full plan in place you will feel more relieved and positive. Treatments now are so advanced.

have you been assigned a breast care nurse? They are good for you to ask questions.

im 39 and have 2 young sons so I know how you feel. However hard this is you need to remember that now you have done something about it your team can look after you, and they will do everything they can to make sure your okay. 
You can do this! This will be the hardest thing in your life but you will do it.

I am 41. I have been diagnosed with a grade 3 invasive carcinoma that's spread into my lymph nodes. I'm hormone receptor positive. I am having a wide local incision to remove around a quarter of my breast tissue and all of my lymph nodes removed on the 9/9. I will them have chemo and radio therapy. I've never had an operation and prior to this am relatively healthy. Overwhelmed and scared is an understatement. It's just been over a week since my diagnosis so I completely understand. However what I will say is, I feel much more positive today that I did this time last week. The plan is in place, one step at a time, one day at a time. 
 

You will get there. The scan will be to rule out the spread, so they can focus on your treatment plan and to target the right areas. Be relieved they are being thorough. Your plan is informed and comprehensive, these people are experts. You are in good hands. Allow yourself to feel how you feel but don't forget to enjoy and notice the small bits of the day that are good! You need to look after yourself, including your mental health. The details of your diagnosis will follow as Will acre from the breast care nurses. They are wonderful. Write down any questions from now until them, and no question is a silly question!

Hi Tracey I had triple negative breast cancer I'm sorry to hear this news I had two lumps one was cancer and the other one they didn't no mine was 2.4 cm yh I had chemo frist I had 4 cycles of one chemo and then changed to enough chemo it's to see if the chemo shrinks the lump I had surgery second 2 I had My breast removed it is the hardest one because I didn't have anything causing my cancer to grow but they can treat it because I beat breast cancer on the 3rd October last year I was OK with My chemo I lost my hair and everything after my frist cycle of chemo I wasn't bad on it got some side effects but where OK it was one I changed I felt ill just think u should be proud u done the frist step by getting it checked and I was so scared it was like I was hit by a bus when I was told my life was on hold but I didn't let the cancer get me down we stand together and kick it up the *** you will get told all about your chemo ask them about it i had mine removed when I had surgery I no exactly how you feel I was their

I just wanna help anyone that just may just wanna talk to someone yh I'm doing really well thank you it's a year in admission this October me either it was My.frist time but it was OK
