Triple Negative Breast Cancer

Hi all

My partner has had her follow up appointment today and it was confirmed that she has TNBC and it has also spread to her lymph nodes.

As if that's bad enough something else looking suspicious on her liver showed up on her CT Scan done last Friday - so the consultant is uncertain if it has also spread there, we are just awaiting a phone call in the next couple of days for confirmation.

Have any other posters experienced TNBC and the spread of it to their lymph nodes/liver etc?

    Hello

    I'm a triple negative with lymph nodes involved. I had things show up on my liver after a CT scan. I was sent for a more detailed MRI. I was told that it was ok and would just need another scan in 6 months. I hope all is well for your wife. Quite a few women have things show up on scans and thankfully they turn out to be nothing. I'm not sure if your wife uses Facebook but I'm part of a UK TNBC group on there x

    Hi Novan,

     

    May I ask how your wife is getting on? My mum was diagnosed with TNBC with liver mets recently and has just started a schedule of GemCarbo chemotherapy. She seems to be coping very well with it. Hopefully she will have a scan to check on its effect sometime in the near future.

    Hello I was also diagnosed with TNBC, it did spread to my lymph nodes,they did say they saw small nodules on my liver but it turned out to be nothing.I hope all goes well for your wife x
