  • Hello Vanessa. and a warm welcome to Cancer Chat,

I hope you won't mind but I have slightly changed the title of your thread so that it can be more easily spotted by others who are or have been in a similar place.

It would be a good idea to mention to your doctor or medical team that you have been experiencing this pain in your breast and armpit that painkillers are not easing. They will be able to tell you whether this is something to be expected and also will have some good suggestions for you in terms of changing your painkilling medication if they deem it necessary.

I hope this pain eases soon for you!

    Best wishes,

  • Hi Vanessa,

I just wondered if you had any update on this? I am recently diagnosed with stage 2 invasive breast cancer. I found one lump and 2 further much smaller lumps were found on scans. They have put clips on these during my biopsies. Recently I have pain in that boob. The consultant said it's because I'm aware of it and the biopsies. Just wondering what the outcome was for you with the pain? I'm booked in for surgery a month after diagnosis
