Just been diagnosed with Penile cancer. How do you cope?

Hi im 38 years old and just been diagnosed with penile cancer my head is completely battered as i am still waiting on results from scans and ultra sounds i been told.i have to have the end removed or could be the lot and groins operated on also i just dont no wjat to think anymore whats the operation like i just got loads going through my head any positives would be great because im really struggling with it

    I am sorry to hear about your diagnosis. Getting cancer diagnosis is overwhelming. Take it one day at a time and be positive about the treatment. Sending you positive wibes and lots of patience and courage. Hang in there. It is never as bad as we first believe it to be! Keep us posted.

    Hi, 

    Any cancer diagnosis is hard to get your head around, I can only imagine how a penile cancer diagnosis feels.

    I can only repeat take it one day and step at a time. Concentrate on saving your life to start with and worry about the effects the surgery will have and follow up reconstructive surgery later.
