im so sorry to hear about your mum, 

as a PPC patient, I have not heard of any other treatment except chemo, surgery and radiotherapy, usually with PPC the cancer is extensive when found, that's been my experience and surgery is required , but I would be interested to know if there are other options, I myself have a reoccurrence and it's in a lymp node close to the small bowel, I get my results today from a PET scan to see what treatment is available.however I already know that surgery is not an option due to where the cancer is, it could cause damage to the small bowel.

it's all very complex and nothings is ever what you think it is with this disease.
