  • I'm glad you're halfway through your chemo now Lady_Penelope and that you've received some positive feedback about your lymph nodes although I'm sorry that more chemo may be needed after you've had your mastectomy and radiotherapy.

Having treatment for breast cancer can be a long and challenging journey at times but our community are here for you and I'm sure those who have been on a similar path will be along soon to offer their support and advice.

I hope your rheumatologist was able to offer some reassurance when you spoke with them the other day but if you'd like to discuss any of this, including the potential long term side effects of chemo and radiotherapy with one of our cancer nurses, they're available on 0808 800 4040, Monday - Friday between 9a.m - 5p.m.

Wishing you all the best with your next 3 rounds of chemo Lady_Penelope.

    Kind regards,

    Steph, Cancer Chat Moderator
