Hello soniamac121
I'm so sorry to hear about your Mum's diagnosis. It's understandable that you're feeling shocked by the news and worried about what will happen over the coming weeks.
We do have some information on our website about pancreatic cancer as well as information about coping for family, friends, and caregivers. You might find it helpful to have a look at those links when you feel able to.
I know that many of our members here find it helpful to talk and to lean on those around them for support. I hope that you have family and/or friends who can give you some support whilst you're supporting your Mum with this. Know that you're welcome to post here on the forum at any point to ask questions, chat with others who have similar experiences, or simply offload how you're feeling in a safe space.
We do also have a team of nurses here at CRUK that you can call to chat with. They're available Monday to Friday 9 am to 5 pm on 0808 800 4040 and I'm sure will be happy to offer any support and information that they can.
Take things a day at a time and try not to look too far into the future as this often leaves people feeling more anxious. Obviously, this is a difficult time for you all but know that you're not alone. The community is here to listen, help and support.
Best wishes,
Jenn
