My Uncle has been told he has 2-3 months to live

Hi all

i am new to writing on this. I got a phone call from ant a few months ago to say my uncle is not eating and losing weight every fast, after a few test he find out it chest cancer. He also had a narrow Gult and need surgery to widen it. He went can to the doctors to get the results of the chest X-ray after surgery to widen his gult and was told that he had 2/3 months to live, as a family we finding it hard to appect the news as he is the rock of the family.

I had do doctors on Tuesday to see if I have the cancer genetic test as 3 members of my family had the same cancer. They were all heavy smoker and I don't smoke.

I am praying that I get the all Test results come back positive

    I am so sorry to hear about your uncle. The news must have come as a real shock to you and it's totally understandable that you are very much shaken by it. 

    I hope that your appointment goes well on Tuesday and it's good they are doing this test if there is a genetic link. It's good that you don't smoke and I keep everything crossed for you that your results are fine. 

    You have come to the right place to talk to others who know exactly how you are feeling at the moment. It does help to hear from the experience of others here and to know that there are others who understand what you and your family are going through.
