I'm sorry to hear that you've recently been diagnosed with peritoneal disease. It's understandable that you may have lots of questions and some concerns about the treatment that the consultant is recommending. 

There are a number of posts on the forum where CRS and HIPEC have both been mentioned. I'd suggest using the forum search function (magnifying glass in the blue bar at the top of the page) to search for either CRS or HIPEC. You'll then be able to read through the posts and respond to any that you may want to chat with. 

I'd also suggest giving our team of nurses a call to talk things through with them. I'm sure they will be happy to offer any advice, information, and support that they can to help you make decisions about your treatment.
