Hello, I might have mentioned before I am borderline on all predictive reoccurrence tests (Predict, Prosigna and Mammaprint) the chemo is now on the table…. Again... My MO is suggesting one of these 2 options:
- 4 cycles of taxotere/cyclophosphamide given the node negative lobular component or
- 6 cycles of carboplatin/docetaxel given the CHEK2 mutation.
I have done circulating cell count and it looks like carboplatin is slightly more effective... carboplatin is usually given for triple negative, metastatic and BRCA1,2 … So far I didn’t hear that lobular ladies take carboplatin in early stage BC… so wonder if any of you had carboplatin/docetaxel chemo? Thank you
