I go in tomorrow for tongue flap surgery plus neck done as well. Since I was diagnosed 4 weeks and after biopsy the cancer seems to have spread a lot on my tongue.
Can anyone advise how long recovery was and how is speaking

I'm so sorry no-one was able to get back to you before you went in for surgery but I hope everything went according to plan and your medical team were able to answer your questions.
Hopefully some of our members who have had this surgery will share their experiences and advice with you soon as well but in the meantime I hope this information I've found about what happens after surgery and changes with speech will help give you some idea of what to expect.
