I am sorry to hear about this pea sized lump on your neck and I hope that the antibiotics are doing the trick. If it's not gone after a couple of weeks, do follow the doctor's advice and ring them back. Don't be scared about them sticking a needle in your neck - they may not even do this but discuss your fears with your doctor and mention that you get anxious about needles. You could just ask your doctor on the phone what the next steps will be if it's not gone but have faith in what your doctor suggests and I am sure they will sort this out for you so you no longer have this lump on your neck.
