sorry to read you recent diagnosis, it's such a hard thing to hear, especially when you have children. 
 

Im Sarah 38 two young sons, I was diagnosed in October with IDC 2cm Stage 1, Er+ Her2- Grade 3 lymph node Neg.

i have since had a lumpectomy with clear margins and am half way Through FEC-t Chemo. 
 

when I was first told I literally fell to the floor, it was a week after my dads funeral he died of Cancer so you can imagine the thoughts I had.

Gosh I remember those two weeks waiting although they told me it was bc on my first  breast clinic appointment I didn't then know what type etc then so the wait was hard. 

Your journey sounds positive I am glad that you have a plan, you will get through this and live the best life.

I fell to the floor also, think I actually forgot how to breath. I was lucky that I had an inclin what the results would be. Didn't make it easier, but was preloaded with questions and a basic knowledge. One day at a time, hoping for a neg her2 test so I can have surgery right away x good luck with treatment 

Gosh, my legs were Jelly.

When will you find out the HER2 result? Everything seems too take so long. 
 

I hope it's a good result for you, but even if you are HER+ you have lots of great treatments out there.

Thankyou Chemo is hard but Do-able needs must! I am using the cold Cap aswel which makes the day very long.

I have just replied to your comment on a different thread but thought I would say hi here too!

It's so so tough with little ones. I'm a bit older than you (43.....well 44 next week and have the joy of an MRI on my birthday yay lol!!) but I have a four year old daughter so can really relate. My diagnosis is DCIS so different from yours but am feeling some of your anguish.

It's great that you are ready to fight! And you will win!

yes my result came back as her2 negative, so surgery first, hoping to have a date very soon, I'm have a tag inserted Tuesday and pre op Friday! Hope to get somewhere very soon! How you getting on??

That is good news.  I am pleased things are moving quickly now. I hope that you can dodge Chemo, unfortunately my Grade went to a 3 after Surgery so had to have chemo, but it can't be helped

how many rounds are you having? Do you know what mix your having? 
hope it goes ok, and you don't have too many side effects. Remember it's all temporary and you will be through it and on the other side ! How are you feeling about chemo?
