Really the best questions are those that answer any concerns you have. For example if you are concerned about the recurrence, you can discuss any possible reasons for this, if appropriate. You can assume the consultant will give you all the important information regarding things like next steps. Make a note of any questions you do have so that you can talk everything through.

It's good that you are looking to prepare well for the appointment. Hopefully you'll receive further replies here soon, especially if others have similar experience or suggestions for you.
