Pain after WLE Melanoma Stage 1a

I had my WLE on the front of my upper right thigh and another biopsy on my left shoulder blade area 10 days ago, attempted to go back to work today but managed 10 mins of driving before having to turn back as i could feel a burning sensation around my right thigh and i don't want to undo all the hard work i've put into resting up and doing nothing since the op!!

Any advice would be appreciated, i am guessing it's due to me going from leg up resting to actually moving but is this a good ache or a sign that i'm not ready to move about? I just don't want to make it worse or prolong the healing process. I am an extremley active individual usually who trains hard 5 days a week, i've took no painkillers for the past few days, i'm just not sure what i should be doing for the best.

  • Hi Stephlb48

All went well yesterday, I now feel like I've been kicked in the ribs and struggle to bend over so gets me out of loading the dishwasher!
they appeared to take a large chunk out as I saw it as they put it in the pot so I'm hoping everything is fine as they were happy with margins when they initially took the mole away so fingers crossed. It's just the waiting game now for the results.

so your doing ok, it's just a constant worry.
ive sent you a friends request I hope you'll accept

    thanks xx
