Can an ultrasound distinguish between duct estasia and invasive lobular carcinoma? 

i have invasive lobular cancer and papillary cancer diagnosed from histology --at least that's what I think as said in a very confusing discussion where both of these cancers were mentioned.

they are talking about more tissue (margins) being removed from around the duct and lesion already taken as at the moment only a very small Margin around only the lesion taken and this has invasive cells at the margins.

i know invasive lobular can arise in both breasts and both breasts were said to have the same normal duct estasia on the MRI and I understand that ILC can hide and appear as duct estasia at first glance

do I need to insist that they recheck the ultrasound rather than delay for MRI which I am still waiting for?

I've had my symptoms for a long time already and the imaging tests before the operation were said to be all normal --but symptom of irregular bleeding from The nipple is back so bleeding isn't from theat duct only. Surgeon has been ignoring me saying that I feel a strange elongated lumpiness of another area of my breast and saying it cannot be affected.

i have lost a short term contract for work because I can't really start it now due to hospital saying that I will be having more surgery within 4 weeks. I don't want to have operation and operation bit by bit for health as I know the chances of death increase with delays of ILC and of corse if it is in other breast there is a risk of spread and I want to make sure the hospital do it right this time because I need to have onmy the necessary time off to try to get another contract.

Since I started asking questions the hospital  are being a bit defensive and I found out are under a notice to improve breast cancer detection and imaging from public health england. I don't want to stress health workers but    Think they need to recheck the untrasojnd--as initially it was declared normal in less than 2 minutes 

is this a reasonable request to ensure that it is really just that duct area they need to look at?
