A month of shocks

Well what a time, this has been, lost my Son aged 48 to Cancer, just before Christmas, on Christmas eve, I was told an xray for painful shoulder, showed up a shadow on my lung. Had a scan this week, I have growths in both lungs. One is eating my rib, and other lung, tumour to close to spine. Now awaiting lung biopsy through rib cage, before I find out, if I am terminal, think my family has been through enough, I Bury my son next week, then wait, for the wait, that Covid is causing. I am 77 years old.

  • After 22 years to have cancer return is a shock. I am 2 years after surgery and treatment and am now looking at reconstruction even though I will be 70 next birthday.
Cancer really does destroy lives, if only they could find a cure, hopefully in the next generation .
good to meet you if only on a chat line, I'm wishing you all the best
