Well I had my appointment with 2 surgeons only to be told that the lump under my urethral pipe that has been bleeding is cancer. I have a mri tomorrow and they are going to also send me for pet and ct scans.. I am to have chemotherapy to try and half the growth and radiotherapy and brancytherapy. They cannot operate as too near my urethral pipe. Apparently it has grown in the 3 weeks since I was last seen so They want to get things moving asap. To say we are devastated is an understatement as this is my 3rd lot. I had breast cancer in 2000. Then Endometrial cancer in 2021 and had a radical hysterectomy followed by brancytherapy and now this tumor under my wee pipe. I am just praying it has not spread. Any encouragement would really be appreciated. Have told my children and they are being brilliant as usual. Sorry for the long post.
